Individual works in the ms. are analyzed in separate bibliographic records, identified by the related record ID 20040806931397
Short score of Handel's Samson, together with anthems by Nares. Title from front cover label. A late 18th century copy, black ink on 20-stave paper, with some paste-downs; a neatly written 'library' copy in one hand, the copyist has not been identified. The singers names seem to have been added later, and they refer to different production of the work in Handel's life (Cibber and Frasi never sung this work together). At end are included four anthems by James Nares; ff.49v- 50v are blank.
